Spa Music: Breath of the Rainforest by acclaimed musician Peter Morley, offers massagae music designed for rest and rejuvenation. Spa Music: Breath of the Rainforest unites the emotive sounds of the rainforest with calming yet uplifting music. This massage music soundscape blends soothing natural rainforest atmospheres, tropical birdsong, rain, wind, and flowing waters.
These soundtracks are inspired by spending quiet, meditative time in very special rainforest areas of the world, including Australia, Asia, and North America. The music incorporates traditional Asian instruments such as the bamboo flute and Balinese gamelan, along with bamboo and metallic wind chimes that ring out in natural musical patterns. Wind and rustling palms; leaves and giant forest trees; and rain, mist, and flowing water fill this album with a restful, soothing, and evocative ambience.
This music is included in his album trilogy, Spa Music series, which also includes Spa Music: The Sea and Spa Music: Mystic East. These albums are all inspired by the peaceful, caring environment felt at a spa and offer healing sounds designed for rest and rejuvenation. Add this album to your essential collection of relaxation music.
Peter is a Graduate of Griffith University School of Art and Education (majoring in Film Music at the Queensland Conservatorium of Music) and the School of Visual Art (Film and Television Production), in Australia.
While researching for his Post Graduate Degree in Film Music, Peter studied the dynamic effects of certain note and chord structures, and their interaction. Using these keys he creates melodies that follow the rhythm of yogic breathing patterns. These music time signatures equate with the natural flow of human breathing while in a meditative state. Interwoven with natural atmospheric sounds, Peter sculpts soundscapes that naturally relax the listener.
An accomplished, international award-winning Cinematographer, Peter has for many years studied certain cinematography effects that have the ability to relax an audience. Peter has experimented with specific types of images, textures, tones, pictorial subjects and compositions in concert with kinetic movement and the techniques of rhythmic editing - to symbiotically combine images and sound.
Peter blends his music compositions with his film, video and still photographic images captured in outback Australia, Europe and Asia.
